Using the Check/Raise to Modify Behavior

Poker is a very big game, a simple one, but there is a whole world of play that goes beyond a Full House beating a pair of fours. One of the most important parts of the game is that nobody gets amnesia after a hand is done. They will remember how you played and adjust their behavior in response to the things you do. Those players who do forget what has happened hand to hand should probably go get their hippocampus checked. Short term memory loss and poker do not go well together at all.
