2008 WSOP Forecast, Day Six: The Race Is On

The 39th annual World Series of Poker race is on - actually, the race in question has been running for some time, but during the next six or so weeks we will see more runners in the race, and all the participants working harder than ever to get ahead. The race in question is, of course, the Player of the Year race, one that the top pros look at as an opportunity to stick a feather in their cap and call it career advancement. The POY takes into account the size of the event a player plays when determining the number of POY points he or she earns.
