2008 WSOP Forecast, Day Eighteen: An Amateur Is Due

Today is Day 18 of the 39th annual World Series of Poker, and the pros continue their domination of winning bracelets this year. Our predictions are more or less coming true as well, and we have a good one for you today. Today the $2,500 short handed event takes place and we are going out on a limb to predict an amateur will take this one. It is Event 31, $2,500 No Limit Holdem Six Handed, a short handed event, which typically draws smaller crowds than the full handed. This is a curious phenomenon, considering that most players would tell you that short handed games open up their gap, letting them play more hands.
