Some Predators Do Change Their Spots

A leopard probably has very little hope of changing its spots, so if you see an orange blotchy thing sitting in the green grass, you are best off not going in that direction. Of course any diver who has ever had a chunk taken out of their arm by a Humboldt Squid they didn't see because it had changed colors probably have other opinions on vicious predators and their ability to change things up. The problem with living one life by clichés is that they are broad brush strokes and are not relevant in every situation.
