Statistically Speaking

The WPT seems to like to think of itself on the same level with leagues like the NFL, NHL, MLB, and the NBA. This may or may not be true. Let's face it, all the poker players who participate in the WPT combined don't have the arrest record to match the Cincinnati Bengals, or even the impressive one put up by the NBA's Ron Artest. On the other side of the coin though, they do have better television ratings than the NHL and a large percentage of televised baseball games, so maybe they can be mentioned in the same breath with the big boys.
