Playing an Open Ended Straight

We all know that a straight is a pretty powerful hand. If you flop an open ended straight draw, and two of the cards that give you a chance at a straight are clutched in your hand and you have no idea where to go from there, the game of poker is probably not for you. When the open ended straight draw you just flopped only uses one card from your hand, the options are not as obvious.
