Strategy is a funny thing. The worst part about coming up with a strategy is that it is often rendered obsolete thirty seconds after you sit down to play poker. Before playing you may have mapped out a number of scenarios in your mind about how to play various types of hands, and how to get people to fold. These are all for naught if you wind up playing at a table or at an online poker room dominated by maniacs who are going to follow you all the way to the river.
