Online Poker Thrives in Germany Despite the Law

Online poker is officially illegal in Germany, but a lack of persecution against the law breakers leaves the market wide open, a position that many players and companies have been taking advantage of. According to a recent Deutsche Welle report nearly three hundred thousand Germans regularly play online poker, and the very famous German tennis star Boris Becker is a spokesperson for one of the biggest names in online poker, Poker Stars.
