US State Attempt to Hijack Poker URLs Failed

The US State of Kentucky had supported an effort to take control of 141 online gambling site URLs, including some of the more popular online poker sites like Full Tilt Poker and Pacific Poker, stating they encroach on the state's own gambling businesses. Judge Thomas Wingate however defeated the move after allowing defense attorneys a continuance to build their case. The court ruling puts a temporary hold on any attempts to seize these URLs, which means the issue is not completely resolved but is a blow for the side of online poker players everywhere.
