The Tyranny of ESPN

Does ESPN have too much power? Well on the plus side they don't have the ability to influence world financial markets, execute a major ground campaign against any nation that calls soccer "football", or behead infidels who don't bow down and worship the Stanley Cup. With that said, they do have the power to affect major sporting events like the World Series of Poker, and decide when and where the championships happen.
